i,ve made a few tracks . have not found any good rubber adhesives that hold on conveyor type belting. all my tracks bolt the belting together so if you don't find a better alternative you can get a piece of belting from mcmaster carr co. and bolt a patch over the tear using 1/4'' carriage bolts with fender washers and lock nuts. put the patch on the outside of the track with the round bolt head faceing the tire side. the other option may be to get the alligator style conveyor belt belt connectors from mcmaster and try that. hope this helps , johnboy va.
Don't know if you could use the snowmobile cowling repair method...drill small holes along the tear on both sides then "stitch it up" with some strong lacing material...might be a good temporary fix. Other than that like the other fellow said a patch bolted on...
