I have been wanting tracks for my 86 Argo 6 I/C since I got it 6 years ago but haven't pulled the trigger yet because of the cost. I will probably only use these track during the winter months when snow in Northern Michigan can get pretty deep. Richards Relics has 12.5 inch plastic tracks that seem like they would work for my machine for around $1200, which is about as much as I can spend on tracks without my wife filing for divorce. My question to the forum is, will 12.5 inch plastic tracks keep me on top of the snow or would I just be wasting my money?

The 12.5 will keep you on top of the snow dependent on the load you have in the machine, I had a set ( which is for sale (Argo std track for 500 in NJ)) on my Vanguard 2 and if floated fine however they do dig a little in turns so you need to make them gradual so as to not belly out.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

The plastic tracks on my '83 worked fine for me when I had it out in the snow.
