Why hasn't someone asked Corky Coker how to get these tires made--he's the expert on old tire molds, production & reproduction. Just a thought; as he is one of the most accessible guys in the car biz in Chattanooga and loves a "tire" challenge. Coker Tire has stocked and had custom made vintage tires for years--he will know why no one is using those balloon molds at Firestone, Goodrich & Goodyear anymore and if they are available. I'm sure it wouldn't make $$ sense but that isn't what drives most of what he does--it's a passion to bring to life the machines of the past--much like this forum.

I have six of the old balloon tires on Max II early hollow axles that I want to sell. They still hold air and, I'll have to look more closely, I don't they have any dry rot. Are these worth anything to anybody and does anybody know what a fair price is for these?
