I have seen the Super Swamper tires on an Argo 8x8 in a video ,and they don,t swim very well. The Vampire TSL tires will swim. The forum member boncrshr has these tires on his Hustler 950 . I,ve rode with him and they swim reasonably well,, just not fast. I have seen his Hustler swim across a still river with out any current at about 2 mph in the water. I think you can buy this tire in 22x10x8. The Vampire TSL,s have soft side walls ,and at 2 psi they ride GREAT.

Here is a short video of his Hustler swimming across a narrow spot on the Sabine River in Texas.

I looked on the interco website and they dont make the vampire in the 8'' size, what other aggressive tire swims? I plan on using a trolling motor for any big swims but I want a aggressive tire to get back to the water holes

        Hey Kestian,

6x6world member Russh had swampers on his Hustler and he loved them (have not seen him around lately). Only downside was that they did not swim.

JPSwift and I did quite a bit of research and talking before I got my Vamps...my opinion is that you will probably not be able to find any aggressive tires you will be happy with in an 8" size....

My recommendation would be to either get the swampers and use your trolling motor to swim, or step up to 9" MattO rims and get the Vamps. MattO rims are very reasonable and better quality.

Another option if you have good scrounging skills would be to find some suitable 10" rims....may have to drill them out or something to the right bolt pattern??? Anyways, on the blem page of Interco, there are some 22x12.5-10 Vamps for 39 bucks each, only seven left.

They should fit....which Hustler model do you have again?? Just measure from your axle flange inwards towards the body by 6.5". This will give you an idea of where the tire will sit width wise, as the rims are zero offset. Then measure 10.5" up from the axle and it will give you an idea of height clearance.

The 20 dollar tires are TOO BIG...anyways TSL tires are Super Swampers....

In my own personal experience, I would steer clear of tires that do not swim...because it really limits you when you least expect it. At any point that you have just enough water to float you...you are stuck!

No idea on actual #...but since you have the same body style as me I think they will work (99.999%) sure....but measure just to be safe.

Are you sure you will actually be doing long water crossings??? If not...just go with the Vampires, and forget the trolling motor and keep your machine as light as possible.....they will swim good enough to get you there. Just not too fast....I did make it across a saltwater channel with current, about 40-45 feet, so not too bad??
