Replace 20" argo tires w/ 22" or 24"

Im about to put 22 inch runnamucks on my 78 Tech.6 wheel.i was told they will fit ,barely!will post results,got 6 in back of car now.will swap on weekend!

I'm running 22x11x8 rawhidelll on my argo vangaurd.22 is the biggest tire you can get on 8 inch rims.I had 22 runamucks before,The runamucks are a little bit taller than the rawhidelll.

the 22 s fit my 78 argo 6 wheel.can just fit fingers between tire and body!

I have an 83 8x8, and 22' is surely the max. But I have a 1990 KB, and I am trying to figure out if I can put those interco aqua torques on it. I like that they are rugged, and would be good on tundra, I think. I am in Afghanistan, so I can't just go out and measure. Does anyone know what would fit on that argo, the front two bearings are caged, it is red, and it had a kohler magnum 18, splined shaft axles
