Maxxis 4 snow tires.

Hi all,

Has anyone used these on their aatv? If so how do they swim? What is interesting about this tire is that it has a 23.2'' diameter and this will increase with acceleration.

i have them on my racer. they do not swim well at all. they ride great and do everything else ok, but they expand a ton on acceleration therefore will rub holes in your machine if they are even close. they are also only 2 ply so will probably tear/ puncture pretty easily

Thanks for the info. Have you rubbed holes in your tub?

yep. my right center has rubbed through. i thought it was because i had that tire on a rim that was a little narrower than the rest, but i changed out the wheel and it did it again. i just keep abs gooping the hole back up. i have heated and reshaped the tub, so next run i'll see if that fixed it
