  • carlisle at101 tires

hi, i found a place where i can get the carlisle at101 lug tires and i can get them for $70 a piece but it will take a month to get them in due to carlisle only producing them as orders come in. my question is, is this a fair price or should i keep looking?

    Thanks
    Nate

unless your just bent on having the AT101 try these. AG BAR LUG R1 HF255*::*AG BAR LUG R1*::*BAR LUG R1*::*DURO*::*BAR LUG & TRENCHER TIRES*::*TIRES*::*Cedar Rapids Tire
i parked my attex with that tire next to Jerseybigfoot's attex with the 101 and couldn't see any difference. they ride pretty good even up around 5psi. if your having trouble finding the AT101's now, think how tough it will be to find a replacement in a year or 2 if you were to need to replace one due to damage.
here is a shot of them mounted on the machine

      tread difference's

these tires look like they have some pretty beefy side lugs where as the at101's lugs fade into the sidewalls. do these tires tear things up more as to the at101's or are they about the same?

      Thanks

i manage to tear the yard up with bald tires, so i haven't really noticed a difference. a little more lug around the side should be helpful in mud. in normal driving the side of the lug shouldn't do much anyway. my tires are mounted on 7" wide wheels, so that might be part of why the tread wraps the sidewall a little. on a 8" rim there would be a little more flat on the tread area

Just bought ten tires and wheels from Richard as well this October.Had them delivered to a place in Detroit.Stayed in Michigan for two nights. Did not have to pay the border crossing fees that the courriers charge this way. bought a cover for $350 last year and to my suprise had to pay $113 border crossing fees. Also allowed to cross $800 ( $400 per person)worth of goods duty free (no gst or pst taxes on the first $800) now have new tires and spares, new rims and new nuts.
