We had over a foot of snow here last night and it was time to ride the neighborhood streets. Ocasional you have to act iresponsible. Went about 50 feet and the machine had the wobbles. Sure felt like a bent front axle. Continued down the block and the the wobble setled down for a bit and then got real bad. Made the circuit around the block with the wobbles coming and going. Today I removed the right front tire to to check out the axle and found about 20 lbs of Busco mud that turned into ice with a hint of ether. Cant wait to get back to get some more Busco mud.

So we're not alone. Me and Jim were working on his Max last night, he went to ride up the block and complained it was thumping. I thought a flat-spot, till he let me try it. It was You're-Gonna-loose-teeth bad. It was FULL, and I mean FULL, ROCK SOLID WITH THE VALVE CORE REMOVED. Only air was the "pocket" that was I guess trapped while it was under water. I wish I took Pictures. The tire weighed WELL over 100lbs (No, I'm not exaggerating, it was a 2-person lift to get it in front of the heater.) It must have de-beaded in a mud pit, and gotten back on the bead before he climbed out of whatever mud-hole.Attex 295 Wild Wolf: sigpic My Runner

i broke a right rear axle on sunday morning at the last Busco ride. went to change it out when i got home and could hardly lift the tire when it fell off the hub... same thing you guys are describing. demounted all of my tires and all of Beths
(she threw a lot of beads at busco) i probably had 150lb of busco sludge by the time i was done. i broke a bead on each tire then stuck a garden hose in it. let the water run till it came out clear. sloshed the tire around and ran the hose again. once i was pretty sure all the mud was out, i dumped out what water i could and then used the shop -vac to suck out the rest. my shop smelled like ether and Busco sludge for a weekA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
