  • 3 bolt to 4 x 100mm adaptor template?

Does anyone still have one? I'm having no luck finding enough 3 bolt rims, and would like to just get 4 bolts.

Not 4 x 100mm but is 4 x 101.6mm. aka 4". You must be trying to run a quad style rim? 4" is more commonly found on 6x6s, golf carts and trailers.

Mike was nice enough to make me a 3 bolt to 4x100mm adapter plate template for my polished aluminum ITP wheels that I will be using on my new Attex racer. I have the .pdf file in my email from a while back. Let me dig it up and post it for you this weekend.

Jeff, that's the one that Larry linked to. I posted it on the site for everyone to use.

I just noticed that, thanks Mike. It's nice to have that adapter plate template so we can run polished aluminum wheels with a common 4 wheeler bolt pattern.

            Hey Jeff,
So the 2 sizes must be so close they work together?

Larry, the 4x4" adapter plates will not work with 4x100mm rims, unfortunately. Mike was nice enough to specifically make me those templates to fit the 4x100mm polished aluminum rims that I will be using on my new Attex Thunderchief racer.

Ah, I thought that they were interchangeable. The one that is linked to on the home page I have listed as a 3 on 2" to 4 on 4" adapter but I guess I need to change that to a 4 on 100mm adapter. The holes are 3.937" apart instead of 4" which is 0.063" difference from a 4 on 4" pattern or 0.0315" off at each lug.

Sorry for the confusion, I will relabel the template on the home page.

It wouldnt be that hard to make a 4-4" either would it? That is what I run basically because it just happen to be what was mounted on the tires I got. But they are cheap. It is also a common size on golf carts and I bet they make some fancy dancy aluminum rims for them too.

Larry, you can get polished aluminum wheels in a 4x4" bolt pattern through this company called Buggies Unlimited. 8x8 Polished Aluminum Wheel

Although I'm not 100% sure what thickness aluminum they use for them, not do I know who the manufacturer is. With that being said, I got the thickest ones that I could find for my racer and I wanted to stick with a good reputable name brand. Mine are ITP Pro Series with a .190 thick aluminum wall. ITP makes their 8x8 aluminum wheels in both 4x100mm and 4x4" bolt patterns. I just bought the 4x100mm on ebay because they are much more common and because they're so common, they were also less expensive.

Yeah, I need to make a true 4 on 4" pattern adapter. I'll add that to my to-do list.

Yeah, 4" would be better. Just looking for a common size so it's easier to get them. Let me know if you get to it, would you? And thanks!

Hey, nobody is supposed to know about those.

Ok, I went ahead and made a 4 on 4" adapter template and put it on the 3 lug to 4 lug adapter template page.
