3 lug to 5 lug adapter - need OD please

For any of you who have made the adapters for the 3 to 5 lug rims....I found the CAD drawings on the site, but what is the outside diameter of the axle flange? My machinist (God bless him) thinks a 6” dia. which will give about 5/8” from the stud to the outer edge of the axle flange. Is this what most of you are going with? 6 inches? Or should I go a little bigger?

The adapters are in the manual section on the front page: Six wheeler manuals

They are near the bottom of that section in the left navigation section.

Bad news (for me). The Recreatives K-lock rims only have a 6" ID.
