I've got a versatrak jiger that I am restoring, everything is done accept for the rubber. Can someone give me an idea of what to run. Its got the one piece now, so I will have to make some adapter plates. I want it so have a low psi so its easier on the drivetrain. any help would be great.

Does it have the 1 bolt wheels or the 3 bolt style?

I would go with a chevron style. They are nice and easy on your drive train. I dont think they are made anymore?(could be wrong) but you can find them used fairly easily for sure.

I'm not worried so much about water as I am drivetrain wear. I was looking at the Carlisle AT101 Chevron Tires but they say that they need to be inflated to 5-22psi, compared to the original 2psi.
Are these going to keep popping of the rim if I deflate them to a lower psi rating?
Do they make something with a smaller rim and taller sidewall for a smoother ride?

I run 4 carslisle AT101s on 8 inch K-lock rims with 1.5 psi on my ATTEX and havent had a problem with it popping the bead yet and they ride really smooth.

when i was looking for tires for my machine i also looked into these tires and didn't think they made them anymore as well, but soon found out that carlisle is only producing the AT101's as orders for them are placed. i decided not to go with these tires though because i didn't want to spend $70 a piece for them, maybe you'll have better luck than me at finding them at a cheaper price if you decide to go with them.
