  • foam in tires ?

    Has any one on the site ever put foam in there tires ,,and if you have how did it work out for you ,,?
    Max IV has a high out put heater,custom cab, windshield wiper,suspension seat,new hydraulic brakes ,cargo rack on the front ,,,and I'm loving every minute of this .

    Are you talking about expanding foam? and do you mean on a balloon tire? Because I have seen that and it was a failed attempt. lol

      i did some searching after reading this post, and everything i found said that the foam filled tires emulate ~ 25psi. that would be a mighty hard ride in one of our machines! if you can post a link to something with a different psi rating, i'd be interested in reading it

        I use the green slime from Wallmart. I use about 16 oz in a tire and if it still leaks and I can't find it I put in another 16 oz. I use 4 lbs of air/tire.

        I ran over a tree with a sharp branch and I had to put a plug in the front tire. I added air to the next two and the fourth one was ok.

        I haven't had a flat in two years and you wouldn't believe the places I've been.
