help finding tires

Any one tell me where i can get the best deal on new frontier tires for my bigfoot, 25" on 9"rim what11.5- 12"wide? Also best deal on new wheels? what do i need to order for wheels exactly (ie bolt pattern spec). Is there anywhere that i can get a combo deal from? What is the actual model and manuf. of the new frontier tires?

They seem to be the best bet. Anyone have any other reccomendations? I have the rawhide 111 and i dont like them much. i have a tube in one and another leaks, couple beat rims so its time i think for upgrade. I have looked at some of the atv tires in this size, and they look great for mud and woods but i bet most do poorly in water. any one have any experience? what do you run and how do they perform?

I think you want the avenger HDI tires, a bigger version of the frontier tires. If you buy them w/o wheels, I'd get Mudd Ox wheels instead of argo wheels. Same dimensions, but a better wheel in several aspects.

ok and they are 25" in dia? where would be the best deal on these and what are they exactly (if you know)? Also mudd ox wheels i guess i should look around on where to buy these. Are they bead lock?

If I were you, I'd buy a set of 6 brand new 25" Goodyear Rawhide III's for a mere $300.

I want better performance than the rawhides, and still be able to go through the water. So as far as i have read, the mud lites that i was looking at people have given poor reviews in the water. I have also thought about the vampires, but how d they do in the water? Would i need to mount them <><?

Who is running non rumics and rawhide 111 tires and what are they? do you like them?

The trouble you will get into is not many tires swim worth a flip. If you want something besides the rawhides, you have to be careful and take your time reading and searching about what works specifically on a bigfoot. Otherwise, you may end up like a lot of us, spending $ on tires that don't work. So don't be in a hurry to order tires, wait for a good reference on a tire.

Thats what I was trying for. What I really wanted out of this thread was what people have on there aatv's, what they have tried and what they like the most for what types of conditions.

I have theses on a Honda Foreman (I iknow its only a 4 wheeler but Im 6x6 poor at the momentlol) but I will say this for them, in the mud they will dig to china in a hurry. But they are heavy and robbed some power from it, so I had to put a jet kit on the bike to get the power back. and watch out for hard surfaces they wear quick.. And good luck!

I'm not a fan of the rawhides either.. however, with a set of Mudd Ox wheels, a new set of rawhides will stay mounted no matter how low the air pressure. That will change the whole vehicle/tire experience. With 2 psi or less, the tires will flex, = "suspension" more tire contact, and a ride quality you have not experienced before. The mudd ox wheels are the same 9x10 as the argo wheels.
