Has anyone tried the kenda k472 ? It is a 22x11x10 four ply chevron, it actually looks like the old rawhide.

Kenda tires
I have better access to those and I was wondering the same thing. Also, I've had mixed results with rubber tires, fuel lines, etc. from the far east. How do the Kenda tires hold up re: dry rot compared to Carlisle and Goodyear?
Thanks

A bit of an apple-to-oranges comparison, but I'm running a set of Kenda 761s on my Honda dual sport bike, and they're an amazing tire. I struggled with the decision to go with them, but after reading a lot (LOTLOT) of reviews on other folks' experience with them, I decided to give them a try. I can't speak to their ATV line of tires, but as far as the quality goes on this particular bike tire, it's quite good. I would imagine their overall quality extends to other lines (?).
I bet they'd swim well, and with 4 plies of sidewall, you could probably air them down quite nicely for a smooth ride.

I am still happy with this purchase. I put 21x11x8 on my Conquest. They seem to hold up really well & for $477.28 to my door I loved the price for a tire that will swim. I run them at about 4psi on Argo rims & haven't had any problems yet. I did find one lost pressure but I aired it up haven't had anymore problems. It never did come off the rim or give me noticable problems with no pressure in it. I also have my 13" Argo plastic track currently mounted on them (running at 2psi). They don't seem to be any more diffucult to mount than they were on the old runamuks. I put about 2 hrs on this setup so far without any problems. - Ozzy
