Old ballon tires on Max II

Got my new/old Max few weeks ago still working the bugs out
But the big thing is the old ballon tires are smooth as a baby butt and two have slow leaks not bad for 35 years old . I know i need the adapters to go from 3 bolt to 5 but where to you get the rims and what size do you get ???

What tires are you planning to run? That will really dictate the wheel size. If you are going with the typical 22" Rawhide III's then you will need an 8" wheel. I would go straight to the factory for those or post a wanted ad here on the site for some "K-lock" 8" wheels. Those are the one with the deeper bead rolled into the wheel so that you don't break a bead on your tire when turning as easily. Do a search here on the site for more info.
