Help with 8x8 response tires

Noob here. I have two Argo 8x8 Responses in need of tires. Looking at Super Grip Super Lites. Any comments? Steering/swimming issues? Are the factory rims bead locks? What is a bead lock? Do I need new rims for these tires?
