I tried the search and could not find anything. So... Is any one using the aluminum wheels from The ATV family? Customs or the RZR wheels? I realize some of us would have to use adaptors or convert our hubs. I haven't read any real discussions about it. So what are the cons? List some Pros as well. This may help out a new member such as myself.

I think finding a atv wheel to work would be pretty tough. I do not know of any that are the 5 X 4.5 wheel pattern that I need. I also would want to make sure they use a beadlock. I bought my argo for utility and beat the rims up quite a bit. I run almost no air pressure and have bottomed my rims on rocks and logs, not sure an aluminum wheel would hold up. In fact I am looking for ideas on reinforcing the bead lip, because I am concerned of damage. Was kind of thinking rebar/round rod, or even maybe a custom made "rock ring"

I have aluminum wheels on the SS. In fact, Whipper & I went to aluminum wheels on all our cars except our stock MaxII. Of course that being said, the SS, Spider, Scorpion & now Godzilla are all springered, so we generally don't have to worry about low PSI for comfort. I usually will air the tires up anywhere from 5 -7 PSI to get equal circumference (there have never been any two the same PSI on a side). Neither one of us has ever pop a bead & we ride here in Arizona on some pretty rocky stuff the majority of time. I love them.
