Does anyone have real world experience with the Adiar tracks yet? They look to be the cats meow, but I am wondering if anyone has a comparison to something like a mubbug or vampire with a tall lug (over 1"). I emailed Tim about my setup, looks like I would have to down size to 22" tires for my bigfoot. I have a concern about the tires he supplies that they may not be puncture resistant enough. I also plow in winter with it and have concerns about the tracks for plowing. I have heard stories about tracks not being so good (although that may have been supertracks). I could always leave my Rawhides on for winter, but kind of would like to use the tracks for deeper snow and ice fishing in winter if I go that route.

Adair Tracks vs Mudbugs

We just had an event in Texas, Tim brought/sold three tracked machines. A mudd ox, a frontier, and a used bigfoot. You can look through these videos of the weekend and see a bigfoot w/runamuks/tracks. There's also a maxII and a bigfoot with agressive tires. Of course this is swamp, and not ice fishing.
I don't know what 22" tires Tim supplies. I was impressed with the track hardware.

Follow the link that Roger gave you. I own the Argo 650 HD with Adair tracks. For mud and swamp conditions the tracks are simply awesome and out performed the wheeled machines. There are several videos posted that you can watch. This particular track is a mud and swimming track and I don't believe it would do well on ice or deep snow but don't fear Tim is working hard on a snow track as you can see for the pictures below. I can tell you my machine was awesome in mud and went through every impossible area I could find. the machine climbs better than any wheeled machine i have seen (except Rogers hopped up Argo 8x8) I just tightened my left track and then tested it by running over some trees and going through mud I wouldn't try with a wheeled machine. the tracks make every obstacle easy. By the way there are many videos posted of the awesome Bigfoot with 22" tires and aDAIR TRACKS, it was a very impressive machine!Last edited by mightymaxIV; 11-02-2010, 08:04 PM.

I'm sure the tracks will outperform any tire. I had argo plastic supertracks and know how they are on smooth ice and inclines.. slick. It will take a winter to prove them, but I am optimistic after talking to Tim. He has decades of snowmobile riding experience and seems to think they will do fine. Now the question, in my mind is the super fluffy, measured by the yard deep, Fred Sain Montana "cold smoke powder" snowwhere a solid surface 22" wide track, etc is needed. For an average wet snow of a few feet, I think Tim's tracks, as is w/o the side extensions will be great. The cleats have so much bite, Dave and I could hardly drag one across the dirt/grass. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the best track for climbing out onto the ice after breaking through, the way they thrust in the water and raise the front end.
