  • Goodyear rawhide 111 direction

I have an Argo 6x6 with the rawhide tires an I was wondering which way the v pattern on the tires should face, should the center v point face forwards or should it face backwards , or does it matter
in a lot of pictures I see it face backwards ,but it seems to me that it would be more aggresive facing forwards and swim better

Every machine is different. You'll have to experiment with tire orientation because of the variance in each machine's design. For example, on my Max2, I have Mudbug tires and they are known as non-swimmers. However in playing with tire placement, etc., they do swim at 1.5 mph. However the same tires on a friend's Hustler 950, don't swim at all.

Rawhide IIIs dig better when mounted with the chevron facing down (as viewed from the front of the machine), but swim better mounted backwards.
