I am new to the argo world but am enjoying it a lot. I bought an 80s model 6x6 and need new tires which is not an easy task. I am looking at some maxxis for snow on the rear for propulsion and mudlites on front for diggin or maybe all maxxis all the way around for middle ga gumbo mud water tell me what u guys think.

There's been a lot of discussion.. I would read the argo and tire forum for a while. First, see what diameter your year model will take, as the lower tub clearance changed over the years.

The maxxis for snow don't swim.

Be careful mixing tires. Even ones that have the same size specs can actually vary. Since the drive line is all connected you can put a lot of stress on the drive chains running different sizes.-Ozzy
