The Runamuck was a Goodyear and I believe that they stopped production a couple years ago. My buddy from Alaska rebuilt a 6 wheel Argo a year or two ago, and he had a real hard time getting the 6 he put on his. Argo sells a new tire that is very similar tread design. I believe it is a Carlisle AT189, but you can ONLY get them from Argo dealers. They come in 22x10x8 and 24x10x8, and are around $130 a piece. (unless you're lucky and find some cheap!) From what I've seen and heard, these are the best swimming tire available, and as soon as I can afford a set, I'll put some on my Hustler.1983 Hustler 945-HK 627cc Vanguard

RD, what kind of mud performance do they have? I've seen videos of them in the water and the look twice as fast as rawhides, but how do they do in the sticky stuff?1983 Hustler 945-HK 627cc Vanguard

Sticky mud sticks to any tires, an Argo will not spin it's tires fast enough to sling mud off, BUT, these things are so close togeather on my Conquest that they peel the mud off each other. I have not been in a situation where mud just balls everything up, with these tires on. Since mud has no chance to build up on these tires, it only takes a few seconds of riding out of the mud to squeeze the residue out of the treads.
I have had them build up into "Slicks", a couple times (Slick, silty, river mud), but I don't know if any other tread design would have done better.

Sorry for the Hijack, I don't think anyone makes the 20x11x8's anymore.

i really like my good year terra tires they are just the straight v tread they kill the rawhide 111's in the water and their 10X better in the mud plus when you run them backwards you know whatever you drive into you can most likely reverse out of1996 MAX IV ,KUBOTA DIESEL
