  • Swapping to ITP Mud lites - thoughts

I'll swapping to ITP mud lites but can't do them all at once. If you had 4 would you put them in the middle or on the corners. Lots of mud, swamp & tundra, not much water crossing.

They don't swim well and puncture too easy for my needs. I had 2 on my avenger and they were worn the 1st year. My stock rawhide111 swim better but with only 2 ply and 1 ply on the side they also puncture. This is my 3rd argo and almost all of my rawhide puncture on the side and can't fix them.

I've been running the stock rawhidelll's with good luck I just wanted to improve traction in the mud. And for the first time
here someone had two 25x12x9 in stock
      So I grabbed them

I bought 6 last year for my bigfoot, got a great deal on them at a local dealer. So far I haven't had them out in anything but snow, but the increase in traction in the snow is amazing. The increase is so much that I now will have to clutch my machine a little, it makes turning significantly harder. I too don't do many water crossings, mostly because my cage is pretty top heavy, so mud lites seem like a good option for me. I expect big improvements in traction from these tires this upcoming season.

Thanks for the info, thats good to hear. I paid $110 ea up here, found them cheeper on the internet but the shipping costs to Alaska are HI.
I think I'll get 2 more & put the 4 of them in the middle, thinking that way they'll aways be digging, going into and comming out of the mud holes, should turn easyer being in the middle too?
