Wheres a good place to find Goodyear 22x11.00-8 NHS RAWHIDE III tires?

Where the heck do i find tires for a MAX??
I have the ones with the water treads..

that tire has been out of production for a few years. post a wanted ad here on the site and someone will probably come off a good used one at some point

what max do you have? i just bought 6 new rawhides this past december for my max IV. 25x12x9 for 36.00 per tire. also free shipping. i'll check my bills and let you know what web-site i got them from

The 25" Rawhide III tires for $36 will not fit a Max II without fender modification. There is currently a flood of those tires on the market and that's why they are cheap, but those will no longer be made after the current inventory is gone. The 22" tire on the Max II was a great tire but unfortunately we are severily screwed as they are long gone. Used tires coming up here and there is your only hope. The 21" tire is still out there, although fairly expensive and not as aggressive as the 22". You'd have to buy all six even at that. The best amphib tire on the market right now is the 22" Argo tire. It's expensive but awesome for the Max II. Do a search here on the site and you'll see plenty of discussion on the 22 or 24" Argo tires.

Ohhh woowww thats dismal.. Which Argo 22" tires will fit the Max II?? - So your saying, there is nothing in production anymore anywhere in regards to the size tires that would fit my Max II???

The Max factory is using the 22" Maxxis SurTrak tires for new vehicles. You can get by using that tire but it is crap in the water. The 22" Argo tire can only be bought through an Argo dealer. Call one local to you and get a price, but last I checked they were around $150. You would almost have to get a set of six since either brand of tire will be a different diameter than your Rawhide.

I looked up the Argo tires, it looks like the Argo design would move better in water?? am i right?
