  • In need of 9" rims

Where is the best place to get 9" rims with bead locks and a 5 on 4.5 lug pattern? So far the cheapest I have found is $80 each is there some where with a better price or is that price a good one? Just found these on the web, can anyone tell me are these even useable for a Max II? http://www.bobscycle.com/browse.cfm/4,11637.html

Is a 9x9 size rim better for a Max II or is a 9x8?

I would think that it shouldn't matter much, but I would go with the 9" wide ones since your probably putting 10-12" wide tires on them. I thought Max's had a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern; the rim you linked has a 5/130 bolt pattern and I don't think that will fit?

For 9" rims with a deep bead rolled into them you only have two choices that I know of, Argo or Mudd Ox. The Mudd Ox wheels have a little bit better bead and will keep the tire on the wheel better so I would start there.
