Will tracks from a 6x6 Argo fit a Max II ? are they same wheelbase and tire size ?

  • #2
MaxII axles are 25" center to center. Argo had different measurements in the different models. Pull a couple wheels and measure.

I don't think you will be able to adapt a set of factory Argo tracks due to clearance issues with the Max2. I think you have two options: 1) ADAIR ARGO has a set of tracks that will work for you with minimal modifications. 2) RICHARDS RELICS also has their version of plastic tracks. You will need the 5"spacers that they also sell to utilize these. Either way you go, the performance of a MAX 2 with tracks is an awesone sight.

yes the plastic tracks / supertracks will fit if the max II if it got the 21" tires. you will also have to use the Max 5" wheel spacers

and no they are not the same wheelbase but you can add/remove track segments to fit your machine.

last winter I had a set of Argo 18" supertracks with argo 2.5" wheel spacers on my Max IV but had to cut 1" off the inner side of the 18" tracks.

RobinHood had a lot of experience with that kind of miix match:
