ams sidewinder tire test

just ordered a set of sidewinder tires(sand paddles) to test out on my max two. has anyone else tried these tires? will post pics and how well they do in mud and woodland area. found them in a few places online for 14$ a peace so its a cheap test.

Some people ran sand paddles and they don't swim in the water. They just cup the water and throw it forward, thus not moving your machine. As far as mud goes, I really don't know, but for $14 a piece, it doesn't hurt to try them, you could always put them up for sale and at least double your money back on them on ebay. I'm sure some of the 4 wheeler guys that ride the sand dunes would jump on them.

just got them on and did a woodland and mud test. will test in water sat. woodland test was good, climbed over small trees and brush well. mud test , did extremely well, dug throw the deepest mud and pulled a friend out(Honda foreman with zillas) then went right back over the hole. but there is a huge down side! any thing under wide open gas it rides like crap. real rough ride. so far i can say if u want to play in the mud it is an awesome tire. if u ride anywhere else this is not the tire for u.

went ahead and did water test today, did extremely well , only needed 1/8 to 1/4 gas to get it really moving. will try to get pics of it up soon.
