I got an argo that would not track straight . No matter what i did ( same amount of air
in each tire ,Check and adjust chain tension, Checked brake drag , Check bearings.
Still this thing wanted to slowly turn left. It has tires that are hardly worn at all. So I
took off the wheels marked the axels they came from and measured the diameter of
each one and found out the tires that were on the right side were slightly bigger (found
that the last owner left it outside next to the shed and the sun only got to the right side
that made them bigger .
Now with that figured out I simply made a gauge that would measure the tires diameter
quickly .
I found a $10 keyboard stand trimmed it to 22inch (11 to center bolt) and welded
the remainder to the end to make it to the center of the tire.
Has a fancy folding option .
Now to check my tires i just open it place it on the tire if threre's free play I add air
if not I deflate .If your tires don't leak you do this once a month
And my argo tracks straight
