another set of home made tracks

Comparing the shape of the metal plates on top of the tires on these home made tracks to the shape of the metal plates on the escargo tracks over the tires , I find it really hard to believe that they'll increase traction in the mud much at all. I will say though, that the rubber extensions that are on either side of the tire would really help to lower the over all ground psi.
