I finally got the 10" polaris wheels back from the powder coater & mounted new 24" gator tires on them. Well curiosity got the best of me so i took a factory hustler tire and wheel ( 21" rawhide on an 8" wheel ) and it weighed in it at 21 pounds. The polaris wheel and gator weighed in at 37 pounds! It looks like the ole 950 hustler is fixing to gain a smooth 96 pounds just from the tire and wheel swap.

Steve sent me the pics of his new tire and wheel combination and it looks GREAT! I'm certainly looking forward to seeing them on his 950. They're a nice fresh black finish on the rims with big aggressive lugs on the Gator tires. That Hustler is going to look like a monster and I'm willing to bet it'll be a really capable machine with them on it.

I never realized how much more bigger rims and aggressive mud tires weighed. Time for a red driven clutch spring so you can keep all 6 easily churning in the mud, Steve?

I friend of mine that has a Hustler 950 told me that he heated up the lower tub and was able to install six 26" inch Gator tires that were mounted on 12" inch Hustler Bigfoot rims. He says it looks like a beast with this tire and rim combo!

How many PSI was he running? I remember Scott (boncrshr) had 25x13x9 Vampires on his 950 and they just barely cleared without any tub modifications. His machine went through just about anything you could throw at it.

Yep, red spring for the t-20, type f fluid and any and all engine mods.
