In the video they are using speed and the momentum of the sled try to get to the top. { or do themselves in} What ever comes first
I have done a lot of mountaineering over the years, And have seen some pretty harry things by other people. But that takes the cake.

As for the conquest right know I have it in about 100 pieces or is it closer to 200 pieces' ????? I gave up count. On the rebuild with her.

The tracks Will be modified a little more with the paddles. And I would like to find something I could spray on the plastic that would prevent the snow from sticking to it.??
Have thought of that rubberized spray on undercoating. Has anyone tried different things to prevent this build up of snow.
I think the only thing that will solve the problem would be just get adair tracks
    And be do with it.

I got the pleasure of getting to talk to one of those High mark guys. THey have nearly 5K tied up in safety gear. They even have trick vests that inflate and cover up there torso incase of an avalance like an air bag. He had a 2012 polaris pro with an aero charger (high end turbo) and NOS.... I have no clue what other crazy stuff he has.

Why do they do it? for adrinaline. To each his own. It is fun to pin a snow machine and see how long you can hang on before you get too scared and let go of the throttle!

Track consideration (purly track of course)

If you have open holes in the track, the tires can force debris out like snow and mud easily, so you dont waste power. Holes when done propperly, also reduce weight

how ever, when too many hole are present, it will allow the machine to sink.

now track height, if you run a snow machine track that has full 3 inch lugs, you will have all kinds of traction, but sacrafice power and track speed rapidly. Think about it as raking your fingers through water. If you put your whole hand in, it creates more "drag" aka more pull.

But the bottom line is, if you have ANY kind of tracks, you HAVE to be better off than with out!
