Looking for a back up set of tires {not to run tracks on} to run on my argo 6x6 frontier. Has anyone run the "INTERCO AQUA TORQUE" 25 x 12 x 8? They look mean! Curious if anyone has had a set and how they act in water, mud, rocks?? Thanks

I run them on my Argo Bigfoot and will use them on my Max IV. They turn well, work good in mud, are great on rocks and swim pretty good but do ride a bit rough. I run 2PSI in mine. They are a very tough tire that will not puncture easily but even at 2PSI the sidewall has very little give or flex. Did I mention they look cool and instantly transform any vehicle you put them on into something that looks like it can go anywhere.

coos-kg, thanks for the vid and comments. they sure are some beefy treads! i have the new argo tires 24" that swim like a fish. they are super soft and good in mud too. i am looking for something beefier like these to handle trail blazing in N Maine and also swim well. afraid the super soft argo tire will puncture in rough terrain? i have the 23hp b&s so i'm thinking after watching that vid they will swim fine. thanks again!Originally posted by kghills View PostI run them on my Argo Bigfoot and will use them on my Max IV. [QUOTE=kghills ]If you think the Argo tires work good in mud you will be very impressed with the AquaTorques.
I,ve seen the performance of the Carlisle ' swimmer tires ' in the mud ,and comparing the Aqua torque tires to them in the mud is like a night and day difference.

Cant you just sell a kid or a wife? You can mix match tires, but I am unsure what position would be best. I would think maybe front to get the weight over them. I would measure your tires and have someone measure the aquatorques to ensure that you can get them aired to match circumferance on all tires. Otherwise additional wear will occur on your driveline.Originally posted by brebett View PostHi mudbug3, since I can't aford to buy 8 aquatorque tires do you think I could just buy 2 and put them on the rear wheel.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

The Aqua Torque tires have tall lugs. The forum member Noel Woods modified his Max II so he could install 25" inch Mud bug tires on it. He tried installing a 25" inch Aqua torque tire on it and the tire would'nt fit under the modified Max II tub.
