  • Conquest Super Tracks

I just put the tracks back on, I measured all the tires and mounted them like the manual says to. I re-inflated the tires. It's pulling to the left. I let .5 #'s of air out off each tire on the right, still pulls, but not as bad. I did notice I put the tracks on reverse of what they were when I took them off. Does this make a difference? What could be causing my problem?

I would try messing around with the tire presure a little more, maybe take more out of the right, and ad a little to the left, try to stay close to the min. and max tire presure if you have to. I am not sure about super tracks, but I know other styles of tracks it could make a difference if flip flopped. If it still pulls, it could be a mechanical issue.

While I was looking at an Argo manual pdf I thought I saw it said to lay the tracks out on the ground before you installed. It said to mirror the way the tracks arced, If you didnt it would pull to one side.

I had followed the procedure for the newer argo's, measured the tires and mounted them by size etc. Then I read it again and realized that procedure did not apply to my conquest. I took the tracks off (I did have them backwards) swapped the tires around so the treads are all going in one direction, and re-installed the tracks. I filled the tires to 3 or 4 pounds of air. It got dark so I didn't get to try it out. I hope this solved my pulling problem. The manual dosn't say how much tention should be on the tracts, only that they should not be sloppy and hit the body. Can anyone explain how they should fit in more detail to this newbie.
