  • The down side of Adair tracks

At least two Fridays a month I will call up the guys for Argo night. Three or four of us will load up with some drinks and set out to play in the mud. These event where normally filled with mud, winching, drinking and an all around good time. Now that I have installed the Adair tracks we cant get the thing stuck and trust me we have been trying. It is suppose to rain all week so maybe this weekend we will get lucky and get to use the winch again. Tim I am not one to give up on a challange so you just wait I will find some mud some place that is up to the task.

Hey crowhater, I think I am going to have a little talk with Tim also, I paid good money for this winch, and now it's like a real expensive hood ornament. Maybe some day I will get stuck again, but I am not holding my breath.I have, however, found a use for my winch,I use it to erect tower stands in my swamp.lol Doug

I use my winch to hold the Argho on the trailer.

It is so funny because not many people down here have been around Argos, what they know is from pictures on the net. When you tell them we go out and see if we can get stuck the standard reply is " oh I can stick that sucker " . A couple times I got excited because it would not go foward any more but then I put it in reverse and it just backed up. I figured that real loose sand on creek bottoms would do the trick for sure but no dice it just dug until the Argo floated and then swam out.

OH!!!!! If you are wearing flip flops and pulling the Argo in the garage you had better keep your toes out of the way!!!!!!

Bet Tim would pay for the video, your argo... pullin a triler AND grooming a trail! Be safe and cant wait for the vids. I may need those demensions on that trailer.....
