They'll fit perfectly fine without any modifications as long as you have a 980 BIGFOOT (both the tall tub and the very tall tub version), but they will not fit on a 950......this is the model that came with the 21x11x8 Goodyear Rawhides. 25" tires are is the biggest you can go on those.

The ASX's are THE BEST AATV TIRE OUT THERE, end of story. Here's mine:

The 25's on your Argo are mounted on a 9" rim, the ASX's require a 12" rim so you'd need to buy 6 rims too. I'm not sure if they fit or not. Try posting in the Argo section of the site and maybe one of the Argo folks can steer you in the right direction.

I'm 100% positive because I own these tires and have friends that do as well. The Vampire ASX comes in 26x13x12. No 9" rim sizes are available for them. You're probably thinking of the Interco Aqua Torque. Those are the ones for a 9" rim and they're 25" tall.......they'll fit your Argo.

He might be confused with the tire sizing off Interco website. They list the Vampire ASX tires in 2 sizes. The 26x13.00-12 that we use, and the skinner 26x9.50-12. Both fit on 12" rims. Regular Vampire tires come in all sorts of sizes ranging from 9" to 12" rim

Nighttime: It gets confusing with tire sizes and wheels, the breakdown goes like this: the first # designates the diameter of the tire, the second set of #s is the width, the third set is the wheel size. Where things get really dicey is that ATV tires usually have the NHS designation which means not highway speed rated. Thats really common sense that they wouldn't be highway speed rated, but going along with that it allows the tire makers to be exhempt from the Uniform Tire Quality Guide which is a federal requirement that the rating for automobile and trailer tires be within tight specs of the diameter and width that they are rated. Because ATV tires don't have to meet this requirement there is alot of variance in sizing. The Interco ASX tires referenced earlier is a good example. The set I own are 26x13x12. Mine measure 25.5" in diameter and 14" wide at 3 psi. I've seen the same tires on other machines that were 26.25" x 13.5" at 3 psi.
I'm familiar with the Argo Bigfoot. I think you would be pleased with a set of Gator tires in 25x12x9.

UPDATE! I just got an email back from Pattie:

Jeff, We ran the 2nd group of samples last week without success. We have scheduled the 3rd group of samples for mid Feb.

If the plant is successful we could have product for May or June.

We are sorry for the delays but they are beyond our control. Please stay in touch for updates. Thanks, Pattie
