I recently bought a used 4' x 8' light duty utilty trailer, like from Harbor Freight. It was a fixer upper and one thing I wanted to do was but wide tires on it so if I towed it behind my Max II it would handle soft terrain better. It came with well-worn 8" boat trailer wheels and tires. In order to put wider 8" golf cart wheels and tires I ended up finding golf cart wheel spacers on eBay. 5" EZ-GO EZGO CLUB CAR GOLF CART WHEEL SPACERS SPACER | eBay They worked great and were so simple to use. This got me thinking about folks who want to put bigger tires and/or wheels on their AATVs and having to modify their tubs for clearance. If these spacers are stout enough for a golf cart, how would they fare for an AATV? I would think they'd make adding wider tires a breeze and as the auction says, a little wider for stability. If I were to want wider tires on my Max, I think I'd be tempted to use them rather than distort the tub. Any thoughts?
