when i spin the input shaft by hand, i get NO reverse.. just like shifting into neutral. would getting the spacers that run next to the inner sun gear placed wrong cause something like this? want to get this figured out before i put power to it...maybe damage it. 1979 attex SC - t-20

Are the plungers in the right position? If you don't have the bottom plungers in, top out, you won't get any movement at the sprockets.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

To elaborate on what Don is saying, the T-20 works backward when in reverse.
