  • Noise when under labor

I am new to 6 wheelers and perchased a 2005 max2 about 2 weeks ago I noticed that when under a lot of laver there is a grinding type noise I was thinking it may be the belt slipping but like I said I'm new to these any input is appreciated thanks

Hmmm, is it a high pitched noise or low pitched? Is there any hesitation in the forward movement of the machine when you hear this noise?

Can you pinpoint the location of the noise, whether if it is coming from the T-20 or engine? Does it start when you initially put it into gear, in either forward or reverse? Have you checked the chains and sprockets for clearance i.e. jackshafts, or sprockets moving freely on axles?

It is common on the maxll to wear out the jackshaft sprocket, usually the left side.

It seems to be fine until under heavy labor. If I had to try to pin point it it seems like it would be on the right side Maby toward the front but if I'm just cruising around the yard nothing but when the wheels started getting packed with mud it feels like it has no guts unroll they get cleaned out in the water then it's back to normal

Struggling under load like when the tires get packed with mud makes me thing the clutching and belt could be part of the issue too.
