Too Much Transmission Fluid?

Can putting too much transmission fluid in damage the transmission? Even after draining it?

It could blow the seals out and leak fluid everywhere. If that didn't happen and you drained it and refilled it to the correct level, you should be alright. I assume you're talking about the T-20 transmission.
