How i can buy in america a overhoul-kit for my gearbox? I will change the fiber washers, one is broken, the radial seals and the rubber seals, the two outer bearings and the 6 Needle beerings. Also i need one spring ring. He goes away in my hole working hall ,like a shot from a gun.

Frank, I don't know the specs of the band thickness off the top of my head, but there really isn't very much material on them. Nearly all the T-20's that I've taken apart have had good bands because people don't put enough hours on the machine to wear them out. You could post some pics of them for us to take a look at or maybe someone else can help us out with this.

Your best place for parts is directly through the manufacturer, Recreatives/Skid Steer Corportation. They're very helpful folks. Tell them that you found them through 6X6World and they'll be sure to take good care of you. Ask for Galen. Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511

Frank, I am not sure of the minimum required thickness on the bands. If the plungers on the t-20 did not pull out too far and there is no missing parts of the lining I would think you should be ok. I looked on RI's website and there is a dealer in Germany. Maybe they can help you get the parts you need. Below is their contact info:

He's fast. I would say normally calling the factory is the way to go, however, shipping from overseas may be a little pricey and if the Germany dealer has parts in stock it may save you a bundle. You may want to check both places.

Haha! Get to know them both a bit better. More like stale dougnuts on a piece of plywood, but my friends just the same.

And with friends like that, who needs ......stale doughnuts?

Older T-20 bands measure .060" for the steel, and the newer ones are thicker at .070"
When relined, they put on approx .045" of wear material. This is really hard to measure, because the calipers will sink into the wear material. When checking a used band, you need to measure at many places along the band because they just don't wear evenly....Don't know why
