T20 Disassembly Help

So I got my t20 tore down to the shift colar and I need to remove the shift lever. The problem is I can't get the shift levers to come out. I removed the retaining clip and the levers won't move past the grove that the retaining clip was in. Both sides are like this.

Crud and corrosion can make this hard. You can spray it with penetrating oil and work it back and forth while pulling up. It will come....eventually.
