  • Sierra Trail Boss Transmission

    Hi i have a trail boss an i was out the otherday and it stoped tracking an turning left.any ideas or anyone know where i can get new bands or the material to do them my self

    [IMG][/IMG]Call Transmission Crafters. They do a lot of T-20 bands for members, and I'm sure they can help you out.

        There are adjustments you have to make... maybe the left control rod is off, or to far out. Plus there are bands inside the transmission, one might be worn out.

        I have the original manual, and it explains the adjustments... plus more. Let me know if you need it (I have it in .pdf format)

        BTW... your TB doesn't have a T-20 transmission. It uses two separate transmissions... one for each side. That's how you can rotate on a dime.

                      HI this is my first post, i've been reading the forums and i ran acrossed your forum helping someone out with the trans. I just got a 1970 trailboss it's all some what together
                      i got it running but it don't move I'M not formiller with the vesely trans, i would very much apprechate acopy of the manual PLEASE summer is almost gone i,m dieing to ride it.

                            Does anybody know where I can get a pair of sierra trail boss transmission's both sides.
                            and about how much would they cost for good ones. not looking for rebuilders.
