  • Secondary Clutch Spring Tension?

I got a green spring to replace the 2 stroke spring in my driven clutch. How much should the spring be tensioned?

Salisbury driven is assemble on key so moveable plate will just turn and tension past two cam bumps. Then press together and install snapring. If necessary rap center hub with plastic mallet to bring tight to snapring

      hi,
Just checking ,is the green spring exactly for the secondary .
Eg the max secondary for the same type -780 series depending upon the year of secondary the spring is different . In the case of the 780 the obvious difference is the amount of slippers and there colour .

Assuming we have the matching parts
tighten the spring upon install up to 30 degrees of rotation
