How dp I get all of the fluid out of my T-20?

Hello I just got a 2001 MAXII (I LOVE IT!) I THOUGHT that my Foreman would go some places!
So anyway I am giving it a full birthday so I am not pushing this bad boy off of land I am not even supposed to be on in the first place, and I see that you take out the lower left drain bolt, but I ALSO see that you only refill back to this point....soooo, how do you get the fluid out and what sense does it make to put the "drain plug" ABOVE the fluid that it is supposed to drain? Thanks, Steve.

I lift the front of my Max 4 up using an engine crane. Works well. If you have a solid tree nearby you could pull the front up using a chain block or similar.

The top plug is for filling bottom is level check plug. The T-20 holds 32oz. of ATF. I prefer type F with 4 oz of limited slip differential additive. Some people pull the lower plug and winch the nose way up to drain it. I use a vacume oil changer I got at Lowes in there garden equipment area. I insert the 1/4 inch tube into the upper plug hole going straight down about 7inches. The tube hits a stop in bottom of transmission case and the vacume draws all but about 1/2 oz of fluid out. I then just refill and go. Lowes part # 141690 and they work great.
