    All,

Quick question on the t-20 behavior.

I have restored my Hustler 950 to functional and working good mechanically. However, I now realize that I get a jerky and sometimes surging behavior out of the transmission. I am not sure if this is typical behavior or that of a unit that needs rebuild. It drives and turns adequately in forward and reverse but seems a bit "sloppy" at times on the sticks.

I am unclear how tight the controls should feel when operating.

Is there a slight "chattering" coming from the transmission? If so, add just a hair under a quart of ATF type F transmission fluid and 4 ounces of anti slip differential additive (to bring the total transmission fluid amount to exactly one quart).
