  • Comet 780 rebuild

Is there anywhere to get internal parts for the 780? I have one missing the weight/roller off one of the spring arms.

Quality Drive Systems (Quality Drive Systems) or Manufacturer's Supply (Recreatives Max Clutches | ATV Parts | MFG Supply). You can also try Certified Parts Corporation (CPCMain)

I called MFG they didn't know what i needed but gave me a number for certified parts. Cert knew exactly what I wanted and i had part numbers in about 2 min. Called MFG back and got everything on the way. Grand total of $79.90 with shipping.

Part numbers if anyone else wants to know.
      Yellow Springs - 302292A
      106 gram roller kit - 201759A
Pivot pin kit - 302294A includes the bushings and screws as well as the pins

What is the contact info and website for Certified Parts? I've never heard of them before.

Lady at MFG game me the number said they were a wholesaler but should be able to find me the part numbers no problem.
The number I got is for Don Jackson at Certified 608 774 0481
I believe this is them, http://www.certifiedpartscorp.com/Ep...ge.aspx?ID=189
They apparently bought up to the rights/stock of hoffco/comet and are saleing the stock and suposedly going to keep producing parts. Looks like they have some interesting stuff. Gonna have to give them a call and see what they want to be a dealer they don't seem to have anything down here in Texas.

Share and share alike. I figure I am still in some major information debt based on the info I've gotten off the site.
