Red Spring

Hi all
I'm getting ready to install a new red spring in my driven clutch, 2000 Max ll, is there anything special I need to do? Or do I just compress the spring line up keyway and install clip? Thanks for any advise

I will be following this thread as I am about to put one in my 2001 MaxII, these boys know these machines inside and out, somebody will be along with the answer shortly no doubt.

This is what I followed when I just changed 3 machines to red springs.

Red springs are much stiffer......an extra hand is very helpful.
