I ordered two sets from RI yesterday and one set of these from RadCycles to compare them.
Definitely a must have, tool box item.

Happy to help. Those are a good price. It's nice to have extras on hand since they're not that easy to find.

You want that play in the input shaft. That keeps the sun gears from eating up the center plate.

Correct the shaft you bolt the driven clutch to.

You must mean side to side play in the input shaft (the shaft that the driven clutch bolts to), correct? If so, there will be a slight bit of play, it's how all T-20's are, but if you mean play in the left or right or both output shafts, then like Jim said, there is an issue with a bearing that's very bad and about to grenade.

You shouldn't have any play in the output shafts. Play would have to be caused by a bad bearing, and that should be obvious because it would trash the seal and leak....Or a broken/displaced retaining clip. The clip could be the one between the seal and bearing(retains the bearing) or the inner clip that holds the shaft to the bearing.

First off I was wondering what is an acceptable output shaft play? There is 3/32" of movement. Secondly the nylon cam sliders on the driven clutch, where can those be purchased? Dont know if it matters but they are for a superchief. Found these on MFG but dont know if they are the same.
