Mine has always been where the band meets the eyelet. I think the thousands of cycles of constrict and release that we put them through causes some work hardening in that area. That on top of the fact you have a flexible band that is being stopped from flexing all the way across where it meets the eyelet because at that point it is three layers thick Tig welded together. Any thoughts?
