Only a few manufacturers used the springs on t-20's.
I have driven machines both ways, and I tend to like the springs......but that's just because it is easier to take a drink on the trails.
Even with springs you still have to push forward on the sticks when in serious mud or a hill. so the only advantage is really flat land.
Take them out. I never run them in any of my rigs.
I'm going to disagree. If you want a good workout for your biceps, the springs are the only way to go. I know some people spend big money for at home gym's, but I say there is no better way to enjoy the outdoors and really work those muscles than driving a Max that really makes you work to turn or stop. I was considering a rope and pulley system to extend its capabilities to work other muscles for the next Over The Top tournament.

Thanks for all the replies. I will just have to remove them and try it to see how it suits me.
I do like the idea of using rod ends and the "popcicle" sticks to remove all play.

hi
I like the burn
Yes the springs I found r good for long beach runs [cruise control ha ha ] and or when the ground is rough u do not have to maintain pressure on sticks .Properly adjusted they have never caused my transmission to slip .
