  • missing one cam shoe

Just looking over my machine and noticed that one cam shoe is missing from the clutch....How important is this and should I replace just the missing one or should I replace all 3?

Those are very important. We really messed up a secondary when they broke. I personally would do all 3 so its even. Looks like an argo. Maybe these.

Thanks for the quick response toys4me....Yes, I should have mentioned that the machine is an 02 conquest.

I was talking to Shawn H this morning and he was told by Leo's Argo that when the buttons fall off its usually because the clutch needs resleeved.

The bushing on the moveable face is wore.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.

As usual with this site...If you do not know something then ask away as there is always someone(s) who has the answer and pics to show you what you need.

I will be stopping by my local dealer tomorrow and finding out about these parts....After that comes the fun part of stripping the clutch down....again thanks to RD for already having a vid on how to do that.....

Need to make sure the old girl is in tip top shape for the moose hunt next month....

After the bushing is installed be sure to run a drill bit through the pin hole or it will distort the bushing.
